Netflix的工程文化:如何激发工程师? 研究表明,积极性受专精(Mastery)、自主(Autonomy)和目的(Purpose)三个因素驱动。 本次演讲将探索如何打好基础,以帮助工程师实现这三个因素。 专精:为每个人提供锻炼技能的机会,并提供反馈以支持其成长。 自主:设定良好的环境,但是不控制目标的日常执行。 目的:将工程师和公司的使命连接起来。 这些工作并不能毕其功于一役,相反我们要持续努力。这也不是能自上而下提供的。领导层要创造好的条件,但是每个人也要积极主动。 > Research shows that motivation is driven by `mastery`, `autonomy`, and `purpose`. In this talk, we will explore how to create the foundation that enables engineers to achieve all three: mastery by creating opportunities for everybody to grow their skills and providing feedback that supports that growth. Autonomy by setting context, but not controlling the day-to-day execution of goals. Finally, purpose by connecting everybody's work to the mission of the company. Doing this is not a one-time effort, but instead must be an ongoing effort. It is also not not something that can be provided top down. Leadership can create the right conditions, but every person must play an active role in accomplishing their own motivation.
