[](http://www.uploadify.com) # scriptData Input Type:**JSON object with mixed types** Input Format:**{name:value,name:value,name:value,...}** Default:**null** Required:**optional** The **scriptData** option allows you to send additional data to the back-end script during an upload. You can call the scriptData values in the back-end script like any submitted form field (i.e. **$_POST['*scriptDataVariable*']**).
