## **1. System Overview**
**LAISON SaaS Smart Water Meter Data Management System (Hereafter referred as MDM System) is an intelligent system that integrates meter management, customer management, meter reading, billing, charging, monitoring and alarming, data statistics etc. functions, with the following features:**
(1) Compatible with various serise of LAISON Smart Water Meters: including mechanical meters, LoRa Split Type STS Prepaid Water Meters, IoT (GPRS/NB-IoT/LoRaWAN etc.) Prepaid / Postpaid Smart Water Meters etc.
(2) Flexible Water Tariff configuration for billing: support Fixed Water Tariff, Step Water Tariff or some other Customized Water Tariff scheme, fully meet various requirements from Water Boards
(3) Easy Meter Management: meters can be grouped at Water Companies’ request for easy monitoring and management
(4) Meter Monitoring and in-time Alarm Info push: LAISON MDM system shall monitor the running status of meter and if any pre-defined alarm occurs, it shall push the info. to corresponding person like Maintainer, End-user via Email, SMS etc.
(5) Massive Statistic Report: LAISON MDM System could analyze the massive data received from Meter and generate corresponding data statistic report, to make full use of the data asset from water meters
