Speed tags are used to change the speed of the crane for a given operation. Speed tags may be used, for example, to simulate a crane completing an operation faster for containers on the top of the hatch and completing an operation slower for containers deep in the hatch. The Speed Tags window can be launched by clicking on the "Edit Tags..." option in the聽[Speed Tag column of the hatch operations table](Hatch_Profiles.html#SpeedTag). ![](https://box.kancloud.cn/e321b91790245f022b48f4f89d5bb644_306x318.png) Specify tags by crane- This checkbox allows you to be more granular in the way that tags are applied. If this box is checked and there are more than one ship-to-shore cranes, an additional column appears allowing you to choose the crane the tag can be applied to. If this box is unchecked, tags can be applied to all cranes. If tags are applied to specific cranes, then the speed tag will only take affect on a hatch operation if that crane is assigned to work on that hatch. An example of this would be if one crane is capable of doing twin lift but another crane is not. The first crane would have a multiplier of about 2 for a "TwinLift" tag, while the second crane would have a multiplier of 1.00 for this tag. Tag Name - This value is the name assigned to the speed tag. Speed Multiple- This value is the speed multiplier amount associated with the speed tag. The crane's evaluated move time will be divided by the Speed Multiple value to use as the real move time. Values greater than 1 cause the crane to move faster, while values below 1 cause the crane to move slower. Add Speed Tag - Click this button to add a new row to the speed tags table. Delete Selected Tag - Click this button to delete the highlighted row from the table.
