FlexTerm gives the user the ability to quickly add Container Terminal specific performance measures. Adding CT Standard Performance Measures On the Performance Measures tab in the Experimenter, located under the FlexSim Statistics menu, there is now the option to quickly add performance measures for Container Terminal objects.聽 By clicking on the "+" button, you will see a popup option for CT Standard Performance Measure.聽 Depending on the Container Terminal objects in your model, different categories will be populated.聽 There will be another sub menu for each category with different statistics that can be collected.聽 Depending on the category, there may be another sub menu to select a particular object within the category to collect statistics for.聽 There are basically three levels of menus.聽 The first menu is a Container Terminal object category.聽 Within that category is a second menu that lists all the standard statistics for that object category.聽 Within a standard statistic, there may be a third menu to select an individual object to collect statistics for.聽 In addition, if there are multiple objects within a category like multiple quay cranes, then there will be an option in the third menu level to select the average, minimum, and maximum of all the objects for that particular statistic.聽聽 ![ct standard performance measures](https://box.kancloud.cn/4d65f751ad3fdec8be9ec4b99d1d9bf8_802x452.png) The following categories and their statistics are provided as standard performance measures. 聽Note that many of the following statistics and their descriptions are derived from the statistics on the FlexTerm [Statistics](Statistics.html)page. Quay Cranes - This category will appear if there are any quay cranes in the model.聽 The following statistics are collected: - Throughput - The total number of containers moved through the quay crane. - Utilization - The ratio of total utilized time (total time minus idle time) to total time.聽 Utilization = (total time - idle time) / total time - Gross Productivity - The amount of moves per utilized hour.聽 Gross productivity = total throughput / utilized time per hour - Net Productivity - The amount of moves per working hour.聽 Net productivity = total throughput / working time per hour Blocks聽- This category will appear if there are any yard blocks in the model.聽 The following statistics are collected: - Throughput - The total number of containers moved through the block. - Average Content - The average number of containers in the block. - Maximum Content - The maximum number of containers in the block. - Minimum Content - The minimum number of containers in the block. - Average Dwell Time - The average time in days that a container spent in the block. - Maximum Dwell Time - The maximum time in days that a container spent in the block. - Minimum Dwell Time - The minimum time in days that a container spend in the block. Berth - This category will appear if there are any ships scheduled in the berth planner.聽 The following statistics are collected: - Throughput - The total number of ships that have entered the berth. - Average Content - The average number of ships waiting to be placed in the berth. - Maximum Content - The maximum number of ships waiting to be placed in the berth. - Minimum Content - The minimum number of ships waiting to be placed in the berth. - Average Dwell Time - The average time in hours that a ship waited to be placed in the berth. - Maximum Dwell Time - The maximum time in hours that a ship waited to be placed in the berth. - Minimum Dwell Time - The minimum time in hours that a ship waited to be placed in the berth. - Total Ships Queued - The total number of ships that have been queued. - Total Ships Arrived - The total number of ships that have arrived at the berth. Yard - This category will appear by default.聽 The following statistics are collected: - Throughput - The total amount of containers that have entered the yard plus the total amount of containers that have exited the yard. - Average Content - The average number of containers in the yard. - Maximum Content - The maximum number of containers in the yard. - Minimum Content - The minimum number of containers in the yard. - Average Dwell Time - The average time in days that a container spent in the yard. - Maximum Dwell Time - The maximum time in days that a container spent in the yard. - Minimum Dwell Time - The minimum time in days that a container spent in the yard. Container Types - This category will appear by default.聽 The following statistics are collected: - Throughput - The total amount of containers of the selected type that have entered the yard plus the total amount of containers of the selected type that have exited the yard. - Average Content - The average number of containers of the selected type in the yard. - Maximum Content - The maximum number of containers of the selected type in the yard. - Minimum Content - The minimum number of containers of the selected type in the yard. - Average Dwell Time - The average time in days that a container of the selected type spent in the yard. - Maximum Dwell Time - The maximum time in days that a container of the selected type spent in the yard. - Minimum Dwell Time - The minimum time in days that a container of the selected type spent in the yard. Gate - This category will appear if there is a gate planner in the model.聽 In the third menu level for this category, there will be four options to choose from that specify the process range to collect statistics for: Overall, Entry, Yard, and Exit.聽 Overall will collect statistics from exit of the Gate Planner to entry of the Gate Sink.聽 Entry will collect statistics from exit of Gate Planner to entry of GateToYard.聽 Yard will collect statistics from exit of the GateToYard to entry of the YardToGate.聽 Exit will collect statistics from exit of YardToGate to entry of Gate Sink. - Throughput - This only applies to the Overall options.聽 This is the total number of gate trucks that have left the yard, or the total number of trucks that have entered the Gate Sink. - Average Content - The average number of gate trucks within the specified process range. - Maximum Content - The maximum number of gate trucks within the specified process range. - Minimum Content - The minimum number of gate trucks within the specified process range. - Average Dwell Time - The average time in current model units time that a gate truck spent in the specified process range. - Maximum Dwell Time - The maximum time in current model units time that a gate truck spent in the specified process range. - Minimum Dwell Time - The minimum time in current model units time that a gate truck spent in the specified process range.
