The Import Model Data feature allows you to import information about your terminal from spreadsheets created in Excel rather than directly editing the information in FlexTerm. This window is only used for the default import logic. However, you can customize the importing logic to completely bypass this window by adding your own logic in the [Miscellaneous tab](Miscellaneous.html) of the Yard Planner. The default import logic, which uses this window, imports from an Excel spreadsheet that must follow specific formatting rules. An example spreadsheet that conforms to this format can be found in your FlexTerm installation directory at INSTALLATION\_PATH\\FlexTerm\\modules\\ContainerTerminal\\ExampleImport.xls, where INSTALLATION\_PATH is the path you selected for FlexTerm to be installed during the installation process.
