Each train is based on a set of car profiles. The train has a set of arrival cars to discharge and departure cars to load.

Trains List- This list shows each of the train profiles that have been created. To edit a train, highlight it in the list. To add a train, click the "Add New Train" button. To delete a selected train, click the "Delete Train" button. To duplicate a selected train, click the "Duplicate Train" button.
Train Name - This value is the name assigned to the train profile.
Max # Platforms - This value is the maximum number of platforms (or wells) that this train can hold.
Arrival Variability- This value offsets the arrival time of this type of train by an amount (fixed or random distribution). This offset will be added to the arrival time of any train of this type in the train schedule.
Arrival/Departure Makeup - These tables determine what types of cars are on each train.
Master - This checkbox determines which makeup decides how big the train is on the track. You should usually select whichever makeup has more cars as the master.
Row Buttons - Use these buttons to manipulate the rows in each car list table. Add new rows by clicking the Add Row button, or remove a row by clicking the Delete Row button. Change the ordering of the rows using the up and down arrows.
Car List Tables (Arrival/Departure Makeup)
The following parameters are part of the car list tables.
Car Profile - This value is the type of car that composes this train. Options for this field are determined by the available car profiles.
Min and Max聽 - These values are the minimum and maximum number of cars of a given profile on this train. The actual number of cars is a random number between the min and max that is chosen at run time for each instance of this train.
